People Leading People is a leadership coaching and consulting company dedicated to increasing leadership effectiveness to maximize organizational results.

Hunter Haines is the owner of People Leading People.  As an ICF certified coach and performance consultant, Hunter is deeply committed to bringing out the best in leaders so they can bring out the best in their employees.  She has a passion for helping “technical” experts improve their leadership skills, overcome the challenges of leading people and create a culture where employee and organizational success is maximized.

While working in the corporate world for the past 25 years, Hunter often talked to friends and acquaintances about what she did for a living. Almost everyone thought her job was cool and said they wished there was someone at their organization who helped leaders be effective.  For this reason, Hunter  now focuses on helping leaders in small and mid-size organizations with the same support often found in large organizations.

Hunter graduated from Johns Hopkins University where she earned a B.S. in Business, a M.S. in Applied Behavioral Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Change Management.  She completed her coach training at CoachU, earned the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation and the Certified Professional Learning and Performance Professional (CPLP) designation from the Association for Talent Development.

She is  certified to deliver and administer the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) 360 Assessment Suite as well as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO-B) psychological assessments.

She is one of just over one thousand coaches in the world certified in the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder-Centered Coaching model, a process that helps successful leaders achieve positive and measurable change in behavior for themselves and their teams.

In addition to receiving a Diversity Trainer certificate from the Society for Human Resource Management, Hunter is a  Certified Trainer for Vital Smarts (Crucial Conversations), the Center for Management and Organizational Effectiveness (Coaching TIPS2) and Linkage, Inc. (Leading Organizational Transition).

As a Past-President of the Maryland Chapter of the Associate for Talent Development and a member of the Maryland Chapter of the International Coach Federation, Hunter works to promote the professional community of coaches and performance consultants in Maryland.
